What We Do:

Inspect your Subaru from Top to Bottom, making sure everything is in good working order. Then we give you an easy to follow report card.

Time:

1 hour

So you’re buying a Subaru, AWESOME! You’re almost in the subie club… But as with any used car you want to make sure you’re not buying someone else’s issues or poorly maintained lemon.  When you want to buy a used Subaru, it’s always a good idea to have it inspected, and what better place than Subie guys to check it out. All we work on are subarus and that means we know what to look for.

When we do your inspection we will look over every major and minor system on the car and give you an easy to understand report card on the car. Having our report can help you negotiate or even avoid a bad deal. Contact us today to schedule your inspection! If you’re selling a used Subaru bring it on in and get your report  before you list it to give potential buyers confidence when buying from you.  Cost is $49 and takes about 45 mins-1 hour.

With the days heating up, a good reminder about leaving our pets in the car.
Here are a few precautions to keep in mind:

*Leave your dog at home on warm days.

* On trips with your pet, bring plenty of fresh drinking water and bowl.

* Don't let dogs ride loose in pick-up truck beds. The hot metal can burn a dog's paws, the sun and flying debris can hurt the dog, the dog can accidentally be thrown out of the truck if the brakes are suddenly applied, and the dog can jump out if scared or upon seeing something interesting to chase. Instead, use a crate to create a safer space for the dog if you can't fit the dog inside the truck cab.

* Take the dog into the shade, an air conditioned area, or to the vet if you see signs of heat exhaustion, which include restlessness, excessive thirst, heavy panting, lethargy, dark tongue, rapid pulse, fever, vomiting, glazed eyes, dizziness, or lack of coordination. To lower body temperature gradually, give the animal water to drink, place a cold towel or ice pack on the head, neck and chest, and/or immerse the dog in cool (not cold) water. Call your veterinarian.

Maintenance Monday:

The “spark” made by the spark plug is like a tiny bolt of lightning; It's that powerful.
Each time it sparks, a little bit of material is lost from the electrodes. A dirty spark plug causes misfiring, which wastes fuel. Worse - with prolonged misfiring, it can be costly by damaging the ignition coils. The concept of preventive maintenance is not to repair your vehicle when it breaks, but prevent it from breaking.
