Well Winter has finally arrived here in Northern Michigan! Most of us are excited to get out there and enjoy the activities and the rest of us just want to get around safely. Here are a few tips to make our drive a little safer:
1) Check and maintain proper tire pressure.
2) Test coolant for proper temperature.
3) Check brake lights and other bulbs.
4) Drive defensively with your eyes on the road ahead.
5) Install winter wiper blades or our favorite Rain-X Latitude Blades!
6) Increase your following distance to compensate for compromised traction.
7) Brake and accelerate more slowly and watch for black ice.
